South Water Caye is a haven for sailors along a well-traveled, historic sailing route up and down the Caribbean coast from Guatemala to Mexico. There are mooring balls and anchoring facilities on the west side of the island (space cannot be reserved in advance; first-come, first-serve only). Day visitors are welcome to make use of our resort facilities, given availability. We offer garbage disposal, ice, water, bar services, meals, and diving services. Day visitors will need to make reservations for these services in advance at the island office.

Diving & Snorkel Services

Reservations required at least 24 hours in advance and depending on availability
Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance
We are a full service PADI dive shop offering dives and snorkeling for novice to advanced divers in South Water Caye Marine Reserve:
- Bubblemaker (children under 10) & Discover SCUBA
- Open Water, Open Water Referrals, and Advance Open Water certifications can be done with 72 hrs advance reservations or on availability.
- Snorkeling: US$65 plus 12.5% tax and 10% service charge per hour including gear, boat, captain, fuel, and guide)
Dive Certification Courses: Bubblemaker (children under 10) & Discover SCUBA

One tank dive

US$92 (includes tanks, weights & belt)
US$107 (includes tanks, weights & belt PLUS BCD and regulator)

plus 12.5% GST and 10% service charge. Includes boat, captain, fuel, and dive-master.

Island Dining

We welcome sailors to dine with us, subject to availability based on in-house guest count. Meals are served at our over-the-water dining area at Charlie’s Bar and DiningOur menu is pre-fixed daily for Cooked-to-order Breakfast, Lunch, and 3-Course Dinner. All meals include a juice beverage. Wine and cocktails can be purchased from Charlie’s Bar.

Reservations required by:

7 am or evening before for breakfast seating (8-9 am serving)
10 am or evening before for lunch seating (12-1 pm serving)
3 pm or evening before for dinner seating (6:30 pm serving)

Resort staff must be informed at the time of reservation of any dietary restrictions

Garbage: US$20 per bag
